Ian Blanchard is the Newest Business Coach to Join ActionCOACH Caribbean.

Las Vegas - With a motto like, “When I leave here, you must be better off for me having been here…” there is no doubt that Ian Blanchard has made the right decision to become an ActionCOACH Business Coach. Blanchard has always wanted to do something that would give back to the Caribbean community and use his business knowledge and skill; ActionCOACH does just that.

Blanchard came to ActionCOACH with a background in telecommunication. Before coming to ActionCOACH, Blanchard held a number of roles with Cable & Wireless now LIME; a full service telecommunications services company. His two last roles being Executive Vice President (EVP) transformation where he lead the transformation from 13 distinct units and created an integrated Caribbean business rebranded as LIME, and then EVP of the Windward Islands. He is also a trainer and DiSC certified facilitator and spent most of his life on a global self discovery, working in many different countries thus gaining a wide experience and insight into various cultures and working practices. Blanchard believes this will help him connect with any type of client and business.
Blanchard first found ActionCOACH while searching for information to further develop his own coaching skills, after completing his initial executive coach training in 2005. During his search, Blanchard came across ActionCOACH and was immediately captured by the organization. It shared his values and philosophies and he was intrigued by the ActionCOACH systems.
“For years I have been clear that my purpose in life is to leave those I come into contact with richer for the experience. Once I found ActionCOACH I knew I could achieve this with my clients. Being able to make a difference to business owners and leaders and to help make their business more sustainably is exactly what I wanted out of life and a career,” says Blanchard. “Also, the ability to change the economic fortunes of the Caribbean through business reeducation really excited me!”
Blanchard’s other motivation was to start his own business. He wanted something that would give him more freedom to be with his family and friends. He knew by opening his own business that he would be able to do what he loves and have the right work life balance.
“We have had a very fulfilling time and series of remarkable experiences moving from country to country and experiencing different cultures, but now it’s time to settle down. I also knew I didn’t want a traditional office 9-5 job and opening my own business seemed like the best choose for me and my family,” Blanchard said.
Blanchard has completed his training in Las Vegas, NV where the ActionCOACH global office is located. He has completed a comprehensive 10 day training program where he learned the ActionCOACH systems and how to apply his knowledge and skills to those systems. In also included a thorough understanding of the company, its values, and much more. Blanchard will leave training full of information to help any business with any problem.
Blanchard will begin coaching immediately under the direction of Master Licensees Arnout Druyvesteyn and Janine Lie-A-Kwie. Blanchard will operate across the Eastern Caribbean including Barbados, Grenada, St. Vincent, St Lucia, Dominica, Antigua, St Kitts, Anguilla, and Montserrat.
Blanchard is very excited to begin putting his new found skills into action. He can’t wait to make a difference in the Caribbean business community.
